• 6 credits of inorganic (245, 341); 
• 9 credits of organic (221, 222, 3 credits from 421, 422, 445); 
• 6 credits of physical (235, 335);
• 3 credits biochemistry (255); 
• 3 credits organic spectroscopy (325)
• 6 credits chemistry electives

Total of 45 chemistry credits, plus the non-credit seminar courses 391 (junior year) and 491 (senior year).

Major students are also required to attend all department seminars during their junior and senior years.

Year 1: CHEM 101, 102 or 121, 122; MATH 106, 107, or 121, 122, or 126, 127; PHYS 101, 102 or 121, 122; 12 credits of arts/open electives 
Year 2: CHEM 221, 222, 235, 245, 265; 3 credits of math elective; 12 credits of arts/open electives 
Year 3: CHEM 255, 325, 335, 3 credits chemistry elective, 391; 3 credits math elective, 15 credits of arts/open electives
Year 4: CHEM 341, 361, 422, 3 credits of chemistry electives, 491; 18 credits of arts/open electives
