Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited – Pouring Rights

Coca-Cola Canada is the exclusive contractor for the category of “Pouring Rights.” This category covers vendors who have authorization to provide beverages at University facilities, vending machines, and on-campus events. All beverage products at the above locations and any events must provide Coca-Cola beverage products, with the exception of Starbucks. If locations are discovered to not be complying with the contract, applicable departments/personnel will be notified and asked to remedy the situation in order to ensure the University stays in compliance with the terms of our agreement. 

Product Donation

An incentive built into the Coca-Cola contract that is available to the University at-large includes a limited amount of donated Coca-Cola products. These beverages are provided to the University for free for Approved Events. To request a donation of Coca-Cola products, please email Bob Hale, Assistant Vice President Administration and Ancillary Services at @email. If products are needed for an event, the request must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance of the event date to ensure products are delivered as needed.  Donated products are NOT allowed to be re-sold and supply is very limited.  If a request is too large to be accommodated, a lesser donation may be suggested or the request may be denied in order to provide a fair and balanced distribution of Coca-Cola products University events.   

Coca-Cola Fund

An incentive built into the Coca-Cola contract that is available to the University at-large funding to assist students attending conferences, small projects, donation assistance to name but a few areas.

These funds are provided to the University endorsed or supported events and is aimed at providing assistance for our students. To request a donation, please email Bob Hale, Assistant Vice President Administration and Ancillary Services at @email. He will share with members of the Coca-Cola Campus Committee made up of a member from each of the following areas – Sodexo, Ancillary Services, Students Union and Athletics. You are required to submit a one page document outlining the use of the funds and how it will benefit the students and/or the University. Please note this is not intended as a bursary for students in financial need. We support the financial aid office in association with Coca-Cola and Sodexo.

The request must be made at least three (3) weeks in advance of the event date to ensure the funding is available and we can access either a cheque or have the funds transferred to a University account. If a request is too large to be accommodated, a lesser donation may be suggested or the request may be denied in order to provide a fair and balanced distribution of the fund.    

Vending Machine Servicing and Refunds

If a Coca-Cola vending machine has malfunctioned, or if you are in need of a refund, please refer to the posted information on that specific machine for assistance in remedying the situation.

There are currently two (2) methods to place a service call:

  1. www.cokeservice.com - PC and Smartphone enabled and accessible 24/7
  2. 1-800-218-COKE (2653) - access between 8AM - 8PM EST

When placing a service call via www.cokeservice.com the customer contact will receive email or text notifications with the following information:

  • Confirmation that service call has been placed with a ticket #
  • Notification call has been dispatched
  • Notification technician is on route
  • Notification call  has been completed

To place a service call, the customer contact would follow these easy steps:

  1. Locate Asset Tag on the Beverage Equipment
  2. Visit www.cokeservice.com or call 1-800-218-COKE (2653)
  3. Enter or provide Asset # and advise on equipment issue to submit service call
    • The asset # can be located on the front or side of the machine. Please be sure to type in the asset # that is located above the asset code/equipment number label - a sample asset # would be DN00000000.
