Our Grounds and Transport team consists of professionals who help to keep StFX moving and growing. We do this by coordinating your office relocation, managing your campus mail deliveries, and maintaining our beautiful grounds throughout every season.

Office Moves
Planning an office move? Our Transport Services team can help. Please submit an Alteration and Renovation request using the A&R Request Form at least two weeks in advance.
Before you move:
- Empty all filing cabinets, desks, and bookshelves.Pack all personal items in boxes.
- Ensure boxes are packed before the scheduled move date.
- When packing books, fill boxes to no more than 50% capacity (to avoid excess weight).
Deliveries
Need something delivered on campus? Facilities Management provides reliable pick-up and delivery services to support University departments, faculty and staff.
- Processing time: Please submit delivery requests at least two (2) business days in advance. Deliveries are typically completed within 2-4 business days, depending on demand.
- Site visit required: A member of our team may complete a site visit before the actual request is scheduled. Please plan accordingly.
- Services available Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Grounds Care
At StFX, we take pride in maintaining a campus that is both welcoming and environmentally responsible. More than just lawn care, our work extends year-round, from nurturing trees, shrubs, flower beds, and sports fields in the warmer months, to managing snow and ice throughout the winter.
Our dedicated grounds and horticulture team works diligently behind the scenes so students, faculty, and staff can move through campus safely and comfortably. The result is more than a well-maintained campus. It is a space that reflects StFX pride, enhances the student experience, and creates a welcoming place for all.
