Tools & Advice for Program Declaration

Please follow these steps to declare your program as Biology:

1. Choose the right form for your program from the Dean of Science website.
2. Prepare a draft of the form, based on the information from one these options: Biology Major Program, Biology Honours Program or see the Academic Calendar for other program options (Joint programs, etc.)
3. Submit the form to Academic Advising for review. This review will include consultation and approval from the Chair of Biology, if needed. If you communicate with the Chair of Biology, please provide a summary of your interaction with Academic Advising.
4. Once the form and review are complete, it will be sent to the Dean of Science for final approval.
5. Any Major students interested in including a Directed Study in their program and all Honours students should arrange a meeting with the Chair of Biology by emailing: @email.
