Undergraduate Program

Biology offers the following programs:

• Biology Major (a standard Biology degree that includes experiential learning, biological discovery, and career development)
• Biology Honours (a more advanced Biology degree with greater opportunity for experiential learning, biological discovery and career development)
• Biology Minor (for students majoring in other programs)
• BSc Major with Business Administration (see Section 9.5 in the latest academic calendar)
• Joint Major and Honours (see Section 7 in the latest academic calendar)
• Co-op (the Cooperative Education Program offers the opportunity for Biology students to gain work experience as a biologist during their degree). Link to StFX Co-op Program

IMPORTANT: DECLARE YOUR PROGRAM BEFORE THE END OF 2ND YEAR!
All students choosing a Biology program must complete their program declaration by the end of their 2nd year at StFX (failure to do so will delay registration and possibly restrict access to certain courses).
