Nutrition plays an important role in students’ mental and physical health, as well as their academic performance. The following information provides reliable resources to help educate and guide students in making healthy choices. 

On-Campus Resources

StFX Food Services

StFX offers a number of dining options on campus. Click here for a list of all the dining options with menus for the campus cafeteria, meal hall, Starbucks and more. This site also includes an interactive map where you can view the locations of all of the dining options. 

Kevin’s Corner Food Resource Centre

The Food Resource Centre is a free resource for any student that attends the university. The Food Resource Centre provides access to a variety of foods.  Located on the second floor of the Bloomfield Centre (across from the Inn).  Includes a breakfast program.

Antigonish Farmer’s Market: A great place to find fresh fruits, vegetables, produce, and much more! The Farmer’s Market is open on Wednesday evenings from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.

Can’t make it to the market during these times? The Antigonish Farmer’s Market website allows you to shop online!

Affordable Transportation:  Not all locations mentioned above are easily accessible by foot. Luckily the Antigonish Community Transit Society can take you there! Its daily schedule and transit fees can be found on their website.
