Danielle Bennett
Danielle Bennett is a seasoned higher education administrator, having served at five other Canadian universities before joining StFX in August 2025.
Originally from Newfoundland and Labrador, some of her professional highlights include helping create a doctoral program at the Telfer School of Management, forging relationships with alumnae at Havergal College, and, most recently, serving as the inaugural Registrar at Université de l’Ontario français. Danielle has a B.Sc. in Physiology from McGill University, a M.Ed. (Student Affairs) from Wilfrid Laurier and aspires to earn an X-ring upon completing her M.Ed (Women in Leadership).
In addition to her work as Registrar, Danielle serves on workgroups for the national association of Registrars – ARUCC-, the Council on Admissions and Transfer for Nova Scotia, and volunteers on the board of the Antigonish Affordable Housing Society.
Ms. Bennett looks forward to combining her keen relationship-building skills with her systems thinking to provide service excellent to students on their post-secondary journeys.
