In honour of its 50th anniversary, the StFX Art Gallery is pleased to host the 50/50 juried art exhibition featuring 50 artworks by 50 local artists on from July 9 to Sept. 19, 2026.

This exhibition will not only celebrate the gallery's 50-year legacy as a gathering place where artists, visitors, and ideas meet, it will also feature a wide range of artworks in various media, celebrating artistic excellence in northeast Nova Scotia.

Artists living and working in Antigonish, Pictou, and Guysborough Counties were invited to submit artworks for jury consideration. The deadline for submissions has passed (Friday, May 15, 2026), and the jurors are now reviewing all the artworks. Artists will receive word on their submissions in due course.

Opening reception, July 9 - time tba.
Refreshments will be provided.
