Physics Department

Welcome to Physics at StFX! Our department prides itself on the dedication of its faculty to teaching, their active research programs, and its friendly atmosphere. Since StFX is primarily an undergraduate university, students have many opportunities to get involved in research projects and the physics community. Our list of undergraduate research publications demonstrates just how special studying Physics at StFX can be. You won’t be one of a thousand students competing with grad students for a professor’s attention. Instead, instructors will know your name already in the first week, and you may do research with a faculty member right after your first year.
