The "StFX Art Gallery 50/50" juried exhibition brings together 50 artworks by 50 artists from Antigonish, Pictou, and Guysborough Counties, showcasing the creativity, diversity, and vitality of artistic practice across northeastern Nova Scotia. Juried by a panel of regional arts professionals, the exhibition highlights the breadth and strength of artists working within these communities.
Presented as part of the StFX Art Gallery's 50th anniversary, the "StFX Art Gallery 50/50" reflects on the gallery's role in fostering artistic exchange, community connections, and cultural engagement since 1976. Through the themes of change, convergence, and coming together, the exhibition celebrates both the artists who shape the region's cultural landscape and the communities that have sustained the gallery over the past five decades.
