Immersion Service Learning and International Exchange are jointly hosting a new type of information session! We are calling it the "Global Experiential Opportunity Fair". We will have roughly 20 tables set up in the Mulroney Atrium on Thursday, March 24th from 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m. Each table will represent a different opportunity offered through our two programs. Each table will be hosted by a student who has firsthand experience with that specific global opportunity. We have 5 Immersion Service Learning tables to represent the trips offered through ISL which are: Belize, Geneva, Guatemala, Peru and Ecuador. We will have one table for the IDS courses to promote a local opportunity to have a global experience. The other 16 tables will be our Exchange partner such as Denmark, France and England, that will be hosted by students who are currently here on an exchange from these universities to talk about their home institution and why it would be a great place to have a semester abroad for our StFX students. We have made "passports" for this event which attendees will be given upon entry and they can get a "stamp" at each table, once attendees have collected 6 stamps, they can enter their passport into our draw to win prizes!
