This lecture is the fourth in the annual Capstone Lectures sponsored by the Humanities Colloquium. Prof. Sweet will focus on the seminal work of John Stuart Mill, On Liberty. The lecture will be a critical exposition and evaluation of this work. The lecture is intended for a general audience. All are welcome.
