Biography

Bill is a tenured Associate Professor who came to StFX following a 33-year career teaching in Ontario public schools. Bill has also had extensive experience in teacher education with York and Queen's Universities.

Research

His research interests include teacher education, physical education, physical literacy, online learning, and mentoring.

The L'nu symbol. L’nu is a word the Mi’kmaq use to describe themselves, meaning “human being” or “the people.”

StFX is located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaw people. The Mi'kmaw name for Antigonish is Nalikitquniejk, meaning ‘place where branches are torn off.’
