Biography

Dr. Manuela Facci has been an educator for over 20 years in rural Quebec, and in urban and northern settings in Saskatchewan. She has held a variety of roles in education as a classroom and resource teacher, vice-principal, Superintendent, and a consultant for the Ministry of Education. She earned a BEd from the University of Prince Edward Island, as well as a BA, MEd, post-degree certificate in Special Education, and a PhD from the University of Saskatchewan. Her dissertation served as a starting point in her commitment to reconciliation.

Research

Manuela’s research interests are in the areas of anti-racist education, assessment, education policy, equity, leadership, reconciliation, and teacher education.
