The Brian Mulroney Institute of Government's Right Honourable Brian Mulroney Speaker Series will welcome Sanna Marin, former prime minister of Finland (2019–23) and former leader of the Finnish Social Democratic Party, on Oct. 27, 2026.
The Right Honourable Brian Mulroney Speaker Series is an annual fall event that welcomes distinguished global affairs and public policy experts to campus. Held in Mulroney Hall’s Barrick Auditorium, speakers from leaders to laureates take the stage to challenge assumptions, broaden perspectives, inform, and entertain.
Appointed prime minister of Finland at the age of 34, Marin served as the youngest prime minister in the world when taking office in 2019. Join us for an afternoon with Marin to hear about her leadership experiences and her recent book, Hope in Action: A Memoir About the Courage to Lead.
