In this second "Humanities Colloquium Capstone lecture," Professor Steven Baldner introduces us to a rarely discussed aspect of an often-discussed story: "Abelard’s Ethics: His Greatest Love-Letter to Heloise." Professor Baldner will examine the lives of medieval philosophers Peter Abelard and Heloise d’Argenteuil, focusing on Abelard's Ethics and its role in helping Heloise attain spiritual and emotional peace.
