At StFX, we recognize that each student learns differently. At The Tramble Centre for Accessible Learning we offer an inclusive environment, and many supports to help students with permanent disabilities achieve their educational goals.
We are available for both appointments and drop in’s where students can get help and advice for things like:
In addition to these supports, our knowledgeable and friendly staff can help guide students as they settle in and become part of the StFX community. We also have student mentors - students with disabilities who are self-advocates and active participants in the StFX community.
Many of the students in our program assume leadership roles in their classes, residences or campus societies, and many have gone on to successful careers in fields like teaching, law, business, social work, fitness, and computer technology.
