Kwe, Pjlia’si to the Anthropology Department

It is our privilege to work, study and teach in Mi’kma’ki the ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people since time immemorial.

We acknowledge that people of African descent have connections to Nova Scotia for over 400 years, we honour and offer gratitude to all those who came before us to this land.

What's New

Please join us for a lunch and learn on Monday, Oct. 21st with Mi’kmaw scholar Dr. Gerald Gloade, Cross-Cultural Facilitator of the Mi’kmawey Debert Cultural Centre. Dr. Gloade’s teachings will connect us with ancestral knowledge, Kluscap stories, and the exciting work of the MDCC!
