Kate Brown Georgallas received her BA in Art Education at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She also has a degree in theatre from the University of Ottawa. Kate has taught various courses in the Department of Art at StFX, including drawing, painting and mixed media. As well as teaching Kate is a full-time artist working in oils, watercolours and printmaking. She has exhibited in galleries across Canada and internationally. Kate’s work can be seen locally at Down to Earth Gallery and Lyghtesome Gallery in Antigonish. Kate is a native of Prince Edward Island and now makes her home in St. Andrews, Nova Scotia.
