About the Teaching and Learning Centre

Welcome to the Teaching and Learning Centre at STFX!

Born out of the Faculty Development Committee and driven by the exceptional leadership of our founding coordinator Dr. Angie Kolen, the Teaching and Learning Centre at StFX is a hub, meant to help celebrate and further develop the craft of teaching at the university.

There are so many examples of high quality and innovative approaches to learning at StFX. In many ways the Centre itself crowdsources best practices and creates a space for conversations that positions teaching and learning at the heart of the university.

The Teaching and Learning Centre also connects the university to resources from the Maple League and the Association of Atlantic Universities, two organizations that STFX strongly supports.
