This cohort is meant to enable students to develop their leadership abilities and capacities within school communities, especially as they relate to physical and health education. Moreover, this cohort is also meant to support students so that they may develop research competencies and literacy within these same areas.

StFX is located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaw people. The Mi'kmaw name for Antigonish is Nalikitquniejk, meaning ‘place where branches are torn off.’
