Each year, the University Council for Research (UCR) provides funding for several undergraduate student research awards across all disciplines. These awards support 14 weeks (May-August) of research employment for undergraduate students to carry out their own research projects under the supervision and mentorship of full time faculty members. The value of these awards is $8,000.
Applicants submit using the ROMEO Researcher Portal, with a deadline of NOON February 7 (when this date falls on a weekend or holiday, applications are due at NOON the next business day). Please visit the Research Opportunities for Undergraduate Students page for more details and instructions.
