Co-Op Education Program

StFX Co-op students experience the advantage that comes from getting advanced training in the career of their choice — before they graduate. As a co-op student, you’ll gain valuable industry insight, contacts and a year or more of paid, professional work experience that also counts as 3 credits towards your degree.

Co-operative Education is an investment that gives you the opportunity to integrate classroom learning with relevant, real-world experience in industry, government, social services, business and more. Choose either 12 or 16 months of work experience.

Benefits of Co-op:

  • Get professional career coaching
  • Choose from a range of work term options that integrate into your educational program
  • Work in locations across Canada, the US, or abroad while earning income and credit toward your degree
  • Build a professional resume and portfolio that can help land your ideal job after graduation
  • Get real-world perspective on the type of work you’d like to do

Co-ops available:

  1. Bachelor of Business Administration: Gerald Schwartz School of Business
