StFX grad Maggie MacDonnell honoured for teaching excellence, philosophy of hope and kindness, in prestigious $1 million U.S. Global Teacher Prize

Maggie MacDonnell, a 2002 StFX graduate and former Coady Institute intern, has won the coveted 2017 $1 million U.S. Global Teacher Prize—she was singled out from over 20,000 candidates nominated from 179 countries across the globe—for her teaching excellence and philosophy of hope and kindness. Maggie is truly making a difference in the world, and we are so proud.
