Buffy Sainte Marie, Indigenous Musician and Activist will be on campus November 3rd for a public address entitled Power in the Blood, Justice in the Soul.

Everyone is welcome to attend this 6:30 pm talk in the Schwartz auditorium followed by a showing of a documentary on her remarkable life. The documentary takes the viewer from Buffy Sainte Marie's early days in the music industry with contemporaries Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan, to her groundbreaking role on Sesame Street, her Cradleboard Teaching project, her Academy Award and the many ups and downs that life has brought.

The event is co hosted by StFX's Frank McKenna Centre for Leadership, X Project and Paqt'nkek First Nation.
