The X-Ring is said to be, after Super Bowl and Papal rings, the third most recognized ring in the world. It’s a permanent reminder of the StFX experience and its lasting solidarity. As StFX president Dr. Sean Riley says every year in his convocation address, “If you fall, a fellow Xaverian is there to pick you up.” The X-legacy is strong, proud and ever-growing. My X-Ring goes on my finger before I go out the door every morning. It is a constant reminder to me of the person I have become by being a part of the Xaverian family. The 8:15 classes Monday morning and 2:15 labs every Friday afternoon, hockey games, Frosh week, exams, The Inn, BurMac, Moe's food, Christmas Ball, Graduation and most of all, my friends. And everytime someone notices my ring and says "I wish I had an X-Ring, too" I smile because I know that I have those memories of life at X and I wouldn't trade them for the world.
