Accessible Learning

We know that, for a person with a disability, a university environment can seem daunting. Through an inclusive program, sound policies, and the direct guidance of a dedicated coordinator and knowledgeable staff—including, if desired, specifically assigned mentors—students with disabilities become effective self-advocates and active participants in the StFX community. Many of the students in our program assume leadership roles in their classes, residences or campus societies, and many have gone on to successful careers in fields like teaching, law, business, social work, fitness, and computer technology.
