His visit is presented by the National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Heath (NCCDH), in collaboration with StFX, and in partnership with the Frank McKenna Centre for Leadership.
Dr. Meili is the founding director of Upstream, a Saskatoon-based non-profit that works to reframe public discourse around addressing the social determinants of health in order to build a healthier society.
The lecture takes place in the Schwartz Auditorium, Gerald Schwartz School of Business, at 7 p.m.
The National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health provides the Canadian public health community with knowledge and resources to take action on the social determinants of health, to close the gap between those who are most and least healthy. NCCDH works with the public health field to move knowledge into action—in practice, in policy and in decision making—to achieve societal improvements that result in health for all.
