The BBA program at StFX is built around applied learning strategies that will help students break into careers in accounting, enterprise development, finance, information systems, leadership studies and marketing.
The First Year
In first year, the BBA student takes introductory-level business, economics, information systems and 12 credits from the arts or sciences.
Why StFX?
Faculty employ a variety of applied learning approaches (projects, presentations, simulations, field trips) to in-classroom learning. Class discussions, case analyses, lectures, readings, films and guest speakers are all incorporated by professors.
Degree Choices
In addition to 15 specialties in seven different areas, the StFX program also offers a co-operative education component that involves a job placement to help students combine classroom learning with invaluable work experience. Through this program, students can obtain 12 months of on-job experience before receiving their BBA.
