StFX welcomes and encourages applications from International Baccalaureate students. Please note the following:

• All IB applicants are assessed on an individual basis. StFX will offer up to 18 transfer credits for completing the IB diploma with a minimum overall score of 24 points and a minimum grade of 5, 6 or 7 in higher-level courses only.
• StFX will also grant advanced standing to students who have taken higher-level subjects with a score of 5, 6 or 7 but who did not complete the diploma program. All IB students must have their official IBO results sent to the Admissions Office in order to be assessed for transfer credit or advanced standing.
• Advanced Placement (AP): Applicants who have complete Advanced Placement courses with a score of 3 or higher are eligible to receive advanced standing. Official results from the College Board must be mailed to the Admissions Office in order to be assessed for Advanced Placement.
